REGIONAL RCIA

R.C.I.A.

Catechumenate Program
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process that brings the unbaptized and those baptized in another Christian denomination into membership with the Catholic Church. RCIA provides formation in the faith through prayer, attendance at mass, the sharing of our faith journeys, and instruction in the Faith. This journey is punctuated with liturgical Rites throughout the process.

We will be working together with St. William Church, our sister parish, to develop a regional and collaborative approach to Christian Initiation. We may be sharing our instructional (catechetical) sessions with each other, while the Rites will be celebrated in a person’s respective parish.

Because the Spirit works at all times, coming to faith does not always happen to coincide with the school year model. The St. William RCIA Team is prepared to welcome any inquirers into the Faith at any time during the year. Parish members serve as sponsors and catechists for those seeking to enter the Church.

Please consider volunteering to be a part of this faith enriching experience as a RCIA sponsor.
